Based in Athens, Héliades DMC is a destination management company that proposes tailor made services and products for groups. Following its acquisition, the company’s head office in Athens will run under the management of Maria Papadaki (owner of Event Makers DMC). The operation of the branch in Heraklion, Crete, has been taken over by Antonis Koutsogiannakis (owner of Travel Beyond Limits) and Philia Karakatsani. The aim of Héliades DMC’s new administration will be to expand into new markets outside France. Although an independent company, Héliades DMC will maintain the exclusive representation of Vacances Heliades S.A. in Greece, with the same staff of the Greek office. The company will soon move to new offices in Athens on 130, Syggrou Avenue, while the Cretan offices will remain at the same address in Heraklion. For over 45 years, Vacances Heliades SA has been offering tour packages and travel arrangements for vacations in Greece (islands and mainland) from Paris and 15 provincial towns in France. The tour operator also offers holidays in the Dominican Republic, Portugal, Madeira, Azores, West Indies and São Tomé.
