The event is being organized by the Greece 2021 Committee, the organizing body of the 1921-2021 bicentennial events marking the 200-year anniversary of Greek Independence. The Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE) was among the 14 participating bodies which will be called on to identify the necessary interventions and initiatives required so that the country can meet the future challenges and claim a leading role in developments. Besides tourism, the 14 institutions represent labor, trade, education, communications and IT, navy and industry and will each draw up a plan for their area of interest to later be materialized by working groups.
