With a capacity of 83 rooms and a total of 164 beds, ONOMA Hotel is situated in a hub of downtown Thessaloniki, just a stone’s throw away from the train station. An eight-storey building was strategically chosen for its location and was fully converted to house the hotel. “Onoma” is the Greek word for “name” and just like every name is unique to the person that carries it, the hotel adapts and transforms to perfectly fit to every guest’s identity. Aiming to know its guests personally, ONOMA does so through smart technology, tailor-made experiences and emotional interaction in an upscale environment. “ONOMA wants to know its guests – what they like, what they dream of and what they aspire – and this way offer services that match their true profile and totally relate to them,” the hotel’s management says. ONOMA Hotel is part of the Anatolia Hospitality Group owned by the Chrysochoidis family that has a tradition of three generations in the tourism industry. Always looking towards the future, the Chrysochoidis family had always envisioned a tech-friendly hotel that converses with the modern traveller and his or her individual wishes. “This is a new and pioneering hospitality concept that utilizes modern design, new marketing trends and tools, but always focuses on the traveller,” Michael Chrysochoidis, CEO of Anatolia Hospitality, told GTP Headlines. But ONOMA is more than just a hotel… Following are just a few things that make ONOMA stand out as a hotel that has unforgettable experiences on the top of its list when it comes to its guests. The Composers ONOMA’s Composers are on call to facilitate and enhance the guest experience. They can be spotted easily – thanks to their distinctive red-color clothes – as they are all around the hotel, helping guests at check-in, serving a drink or suggesting places to visit. The hotel’s Composers are “travel friends” and aim to be the “direct link” of guests to local culture and people. Room Experiences The rooms of ONOMA is where smart and easy-going lux meets digital heaven. The rooms are the hotel’s centre stage of its philosophy and aim to take modern comforts to a whole new level. Each room unlocks with a smart phone. A tablet controller manages room ambience by modifying lights and temperature, arranges wake up alarms and contacts room service. All rooms are experience areas with rock, wine, fitness, design and more concepts. HomeWORK The HomeWORK room is sure to may guests feel at home… but even better. HomeWORK is ONOMA’s flexible, multipurpose venue setting for contemporary out-of-the-box meetings, conferences, social receptions, parties and get-togethers. It has a stylish home-like decor and can be modified and adapted to host from a few people to large crowd. Cloud Bar Inspired by the vast openness of the digital data place known as “cloud”, the Cloud Bar “connects” its guests with some of the most spectacular 360° views of the city of Thessaloniki. Street Art Bar Miraculous things await guests at ONOMA’s Street Art Bar such as “a cocktail with your name”: the bartenders create extravagant cocktails that are inspired by each guest’s personality and carry their name. Good Mood Food Restaurant ONOMA makes sure to serve food that makes guests feel good. The concept of the hotel’s motto leads its gastronomic expeditions to the Good Mood Food Restaurant where the concept of taste is taken to a whole new level. And more ONOMA also offers a Playroom available to all guests who need to stop being so “comme il faut”, a Secret Garden and a unique Basketball Court, all which are ideal for “selfies”.
