Easter 2021 The federation’s president added that although it is “still early to make predictions”, hoteliers are hoping that that either the Catholic Easter holiday (April 4) or the Orthodox Easter holiday (May 2) will bring the first flow of arrivals to Greece and create “the momentum for a better year”. Referring to 2021, Tasios said that it is not clear if the vouchers covering bookings of 2020 will be used by travelers for the month of May due to do the unfavorable epidemiological data in Europe and the low frequency of vaccinations against the coronavirus. He did, however, add that there are hopes that holidaymakers from Britain and Israel – two countries where vaccinations are taking place rapidly – will begin to travel this season.
