Air Travel Jet2 Suspends Flights and Holidays Until April 14 Due to Covid-19 by GTP editing team 11 February 2021 written by GTP editing team 11 February 2021 1 comment Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 19 Due to the ongoing uncertainty and travel restrictions caused by the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, UK leisure travel group Jet2 has announced that it will extend the suspension of flights and holiday packages up to and including April 14, 2021. The company had previously decided to suspend flights and packages until mid-March. Where customers yet to travel are affected by any program changes, the company will automatically cancel their booking with a full refund. For customers due to travel from April 15 onwards, Jet 2 will provide further updates closer to the time as appropriate. So far, Jet 2 has offered refunds of over 1 billion pounds to customers whose travel plans were affected by program changes during the pandemic. “We know that customers will remember this approach, and the way we have looked after them will play an important part in our long-term strategy to continue to grow successfully,” the company said. Jet2 runs leisure flights through Jet2.com and package holidays through its tour operator Jet2holidays. The company’s summer ‘21 program includes a number of popular Greek holiday destinations such as Corfu, Crete, Kalamata and Lesvos. Booked again for June 2021. Would not use any other tour operator for future holidays. Well done.
