Residents in Greece who have been vaccinated against the coronavirus (Covid-19) can request their digital vaccination certificate from today, February 19, Digital Governance Minister Kyriakos Pierrakakis said on Friday.

Speaking on SKAI radio, the minister said individuals can request their vaccination certificate online through the gov.gr website (in Greek) after getting the second dose of the vaccine.

So far in Greece, many frontline health care workers, the elderly and vulnerable groups have been vaccinated.

Individuals that want to download their certificate will need their:

– personal Taxisnet password (data identification via Taxisnet is required)
– AMKA number (Social Security Number)

The vaccination certificate, which will have a unique verification code number and advanced digital stamp, can be printed or stored as an electronic document to be sent via e-mail when needed.

The certificate contains only basic information from the vaccination register of the e-Government Center for Social Security (IDIKA) and is produced by the National Infrastructures for Research and Technology (EDYTE).

Go to KEP with your AMKA number, passport, and vaccination appointment and they will issue certificate without Taxisnet number – I do have a Greek tax number, but not Taxisnet. But good luck getting in or getting an appointment!

I don’t have a taxisnet nrb because I dont have anything to declare in greece. No car, no house and not worked here. Also dont have a residents permit but are registered at the counsel. How does that effect the way for getting my covid certificate ???

A question came to my mind thinking of this certificate; we can get the certificate after the first dose or after the second and full immunity!!?

Well, just tried to download my certificate & fell at the first hurdle. Went to gov.gr armed with my Taxisnet information & my IKA & my AMKA numbers, but gov.gr asks me to log in to my Greek bank account – I don’t have internet banking.
So, second option, set up a videoconference appointment with KEP to discuss the problem & find a solution. No problem, don’t mind a videoconference – except to set it up it wants my mobile phone number. I do not have & do not want a mobile phone.
Considering that the majority who have been vaccinated so far are in the older age range, how many elderly Greeks are unlikely to have either internet banking or mobile phone, or both?
PS No, I’m not a tech. dinosaur.

So how do those without a Taxisnet password get the certificate. Is the AMKA and residency card sufficient?
