Air Travel Emirates to Restart Athens–New York Flights in June by GTP editing team 23 February 2021 written by GTP editing team 23 February 2021 1 comment Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 8 Emirates on Monday announced that it will resume its daily services from Dubai to New York (Newark Liberty International Airport) via Athens from June 1. The Dubai-Athens-Newark flight will operate daily with a three-class Boeing 777-300ER. Emirates flight EK209 will depart Dubai at 10:50am, arriving in Athens at 3pm before departing again at 5:35pm and arriving at Newark Liberty International Airport at 9:20pm on the same day. The return flight EK210 will depart Newark at 11:55pm, arriving in Athens at 16:05pm the next day. EK210 will depart once again from Athens the next day at 6:05pm bound for Dubai where it will arrive at 11:35pm (all times are local). “The resumed link between Greece and the US will open up year round connectivity, facilitate trade, boost tourism and benefit consumers by providing them with choice and convenience. Emirates will also increase its flights to the Greek capital, Athens, flying daily to support the newly resumed service,” the airline said in an announcement. The addition of Newark via Athens will take Emirates’ US network to 10 destinations following the resumption of services to Seattle, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York JFK, Washington DC, Dallas and San Francisco (to resume on March 2). Emirates’ booking policies offer customers flexibility to plan their travel. Customers who purchase an Emirates ticket for travel on or before September 30, can enjoy generous rebooking terms and options, if they have to change their travel plans. Customers have options to change their travel dates or extend their ticket validity for two years.
