A 315-berth marina and yacht club, casino, thalassotherapy & spa center, 18-hole golf course, horse riding facilities, tennis club, Blue Flag beaches, three helipads, and Greece’s largest organic vineyard and winery are just some of the experiences awaiting the discerning traveler to Greece this spring at the Porto Carras Grand Resort, located in Halkidiki, which opens on April 29.

Situated on the slopes of Mt Meliton overlooking the Toroneos Gulf, the iconic 5-star luxury resort opens under new management and ownership aiming – after extensive renovation works – to establish itself as the leading luxury Mediterranean tourism destination by 2025.

Safety and well-being through a holistic care approach are a top policy point for new owners Belterra Investments Ltd, who stress that besides offering exceptional hospitality experiences with unique personalized service, “the health and safety of our employees and our guests remains our highest priority”.

To welcome its guests in complete confidence and committed to offering safe and carefree holidays, starting on April 29, the Porto Carras Grand Resort will be implementing its world-class “Holidays Protocol” ensuring the highest levels of health, safety, care and attention across the resort.

Besides stringent health protocols, a professional medical team and on-site testing will be available.

Looking ahead, Belterra Investments plans to support Greece’s growing luxury accommodation market with new projects or through new partnerships.

At the same time, it will be placing high priority on preservation of the natural habitat and on supporting the local community through partnerships with suppliers and producers.

Travelers can now book for stays as of April 29 at the Porto Carras Grand Resort, which also offers flexible travel and free cancellation policies.

The resort has been a member of Belterra Investments since April 2020.

*Opening dates are subject to change based on updated guidance from the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and government regulations.
