Company updates Ionion Sails Launches New Website for Chartered Yacht Holidays in Greece by GTP editing team 4 March 2021 written by GTP editing team 4 March 2021 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 10 Ahead of the 2021 sailing season, the Ionion Sails Lefkas has launched a new website, inviting sailors from all over the world to explore the Ionian Sea with its privately owned sailing yachts and catamarans. Fully redesigned for ease of use and speed, the new website is currently available in four languages, while Ionion Sails intends to add more in due time. “The site will run in more languages in order to ‘speak’ to as many visitors as possible,” the company said in an announcement. Besides its new look, the website also features an innovative e-check-in component for each boat. This unique e-check-in allows users to fully explore each yacht and its equipment before they arrive in Greece. Every important piece of equipment is presented in a short video shot aboard the actual boat and super imposed on a diagram of the boat’s layout to indicate its exact location and proper usage. “We are extremely pleased with our new website and have been hearing great feedback already, especially concerning the new e-check-in functionality,” said Gabriel Efstathiou, owner and CEO of Ionion Sails. Since the launch of the website in late 2020, online visitors have been steadily increasing and early indications show that the 2021 season will be substantially better than the previous year. “Last year was a difficult one for everyone but we are now looking forward to 2021 and beyond, and the early indications are that it will be a much better year. We are eager to start welcoming our guests to Greece as soon as possible and to have the opportunity once again to show them why Greece is such a special destination and why sailing the Ionian Sea is a ‘must do’ for sailors around the world,” Efstathiou added.
