One of the world’s leading tourism trade shows, ITB Berlin 2021 will be held as an entirely virtual event as the situation surrounding the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic still remains difficult, particularly for the travel and tourism industry. “During these challenging times, Avance Car Rental quickly adapts to new ways of connecting with its associates, partners, and tourism professionals,” the company said in an announcement. Avance this year will virtually guide ITB “attendees” through the products and services it provides through its stations across Greece. “Car & van rentals, chauffeur services and transfers are only a few of the high-quality services we offer to our customers, with the highest standards of health and safety,” Avance said. In 2020, Avance introduced a set of stricter post- and pre-rental hygiene procedures: vehicle surfaces, vents and air filters are disinfected with the use of steam at 120° Celsius; interiors are sprayed with specialized sanitizers; and steering wheels, handbrakes and gearshifts are covered with protective films. The company’s associates deliver the vehicles to the customers in accordance with all the safety measures against Covid-19. It should be mentioned that Avance’s staff is regularly tested for Covid-19 to ensure additional piece of mind to customers. Avance operates its reservations department seven days a week with its well-trained and highly motivated staff. Its network consists of more than 60 stations nationwide, while the company is present in most airports. Moreover, the company’s fleet is constantly growing with the addition of more vehicle categories to meet the needs of customers.
