According to the HCAA’s updated aviation directive (NOTAM), all non-essential travel between Greek prefectures remains prohibited. The ban on non-essential domestic air travel is part of the Greek government’s efforts to curb the spread of coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic in the country and concerns all domestic scheduled, commercial and general/business flights. The updated aviation directive states that only essential travel is allowed for health and business reasons, family reunification, and returning to permanent residence. Covid-19 travel restrictions for all international flights to Greece have also been extended until March 22. The restrictions include a 7-day quarantine measure for all arrivals from abroad as well as special restrictions for flights to Greece from the UK, the United Arab Emirates, Albania, North Macedonia and Russia.
