Already, the National Geographic UK, The Telegraph, The Times and The Independent have published multi-page articles on Greece and its tourism offerings in their printed or online editions for the months of March and April. “With the contribution of our service in the UK and Ireland, some of Britain’s most popular media have published impressive features and reports on Greece, urging British travelers to discover the unknown beauty of the Greek mainland during all seasons, and choose our islands for special travel experiences,” the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) said. National Geographic: The wonders of mainland Greece The cover of National Geographic UK for April, offers an aerial view of Greece under the title, “Greece. Discover the wonders of the mainland and unspoilt peninsulas, ancient ruins, vibrant cities and mountains steeped in myth”. The magazine includes a 18-page feature with texts and photos of Zagorochoria, Halkidiki, Naoussa, Delphi, Thessaloniki, Athens, Mani and Monemvasia. The Telegraph selects 15 Greek islands Symi island UK daily newspaper The Telegraph has selected 15 Greek islands as the “perfect” destinations for post-Covid-19 travel. Published on The Telegraph’s online edition, the article is titled “Which is the perfect Greek island? Here are 15 of our favorites”, and includes a list of popular Greek islands located in the Aegean and Ionian seas.
