The carrier as of April will launch flights from Bucharest to Athens, Heraklion (Crete), Mykonos, Rhodes, and Zakynthos. “Blue Air has chosen top Greek destinations offering its passengers better and more travel options between Greece and Romania,” Blue Air said in an announcement. More specifically, the airline’s summer schedule will include flights connecting Bucharest with: – Athens from April 23, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and from May 1 daily; – Heraklion from April 27, every Tuesday and Saturday – Mykonos from April 28, every Wednesday and from May 29, every Wednesday and Saturday – Rhodes from April 28, every Wednesday and Sunday – Zakynthos from April 29, every Thursday and Sunday. The airline will also operate an Athens-Bacau route from May 5, every Wednesday and Friday. Blue Air appoints BBT Air – Aviation Services as its GSA in Greece The Romanian carrier has also announced the appointment of BBT Air – Aviation Services as its General Sales Agent (GSA) in Greece. BBT Air will be responsible for the airline’s sales, development and overall representation in the Greek market, providing high-end quality services to individual passengers and travel agencies. The announced flights to Greek destinations are already available for sale via the airline’s website, through travel agencies with access to its direct B2B selling platform and via the BBT Air Aviation Services headquarter office. Blue Air is expanding its fleet with state-of-art aircraft, retrofitted with more comfortable Recaro seats. The airline’s fleet investment aims to reduce fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
