International leisure company Fosun Tourism Group this summer will re-open the Casa Cook and Cook’s Club hotels in Greece.

The properties are part of Fosun Tourism Group’s collection of innovative lifestyle hotels in different parts of the world and include the Casa Cook Rhodes on the island of Rhodes, and the Cook’s Club beach resorts on Rhodes (City Beach Rhodes), Kos (Tigaki Kos) and Crete (Cook’s Club Hersonissos Crete).

According to a company announcement, as the hotels welcome back guests, precautionary measures and safety guidelines have been put in place in all of Fosun Tourism Group’s hotels to guarantee the wellbeing of guests, customers and colleagues.

Speaking recently to the Athens News Agency, Fosun Tourism Group President and CEO Jim Qian said new hotel openings are planned for 2022 in various tourist hotspots of Greece.

Initially launched by tour operator Thomas Cook, both hotel brands were acquired in late 2019 by the Fosun Tourism Group.

Under the new ownership of Fosun Tourism Group, the two brands will accelerate its expansion across the world’s finest destinations providing postmodern travelers with a new definition of luxury.

Fosun Tourism Group, which also owns Club Med, acquired the Thomas Cook brand as well as the tour operator’s online assets, following its collapse.

Last year, Fosun relaunched the Thomas Cook brand as an online-only travel business.
