The Digital Nomads Observatory (DNO) will explore the challenges and opportunities that emerge from digital nomadism during the “1st Digital Mobilities Conference: Nomads & Remote Workers” that is scheduled to take place online during November 8-9.

According to the DNO, digital nomadism is a relatively new way of living and working, that gained momentum after the outbreak of the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. Citing recent data, the observatory estimates that digital nomads will reach 10 percent of the global population by 2035.

Greece has great potential to become a destination for digital nomads but “there’s still a long way to go”, the DNO says.

The 1st Digital Mobilities Conference will attempt to explore the opportunities that emerge from the arrival of digital nomads to Greece, for local communities and economies. Furthermore, it will propose a set of actions that could take place on a national and local level.

The observatory will offer more information on its website www.digitalmobilities.gr, which will launch soon.

The conference is organized by The Savvy Reps.
