Organized by TIF-Helexpo, the fair will be held as an in-person event, under strict health protocols for Covid-19, at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Center. “It will be Europe’s first major exhibition for 2021, and an example for other relevant events, provided that Greece’s vaccination program progresses [as scheduled],” TIF-Helexpo said in an announcement. Coinciding with the country’s bicentennial since the 1821 Greek Revolution, the 85th TIF will focus on the past, present and future of Greece. With emphasis on entrepreneurship, innovation, technology and culture, TIF’s sessions will host representatives of enterprises and bodies from across Greece, as well as foreign participants. In addition, the fair will offer many entertainment options for visitors of all ages. Thessaloniki Helexpo Forum 1st Thessaloniki Helexpo Forum, September 2020 The 85th Thessaloniki International Fair will take place in parallel with the Thessaloniki Helexpo Forum, the dialogue platform for Greece’s financial development. TIF’s logo – Greek version In its second year, the forum will host the country’s political and business leadership, who will discuss on critical issues that have emerged from the coronavirus pandemic. The consequences and challenges of this unprecedented health crisis will be analyzed by ministers, representatives of political parties, business bodies, associations, local authorities and businesses. The Thessaloniki Helexpo Forum will take place during September 13-17.
