The beachfront resort is located on a private peninsula in the area of Agia Pelagia in Heraklion. It features 248 rooms and suites offering a stunning view to the Cretan sea. “The resort’s beautiful surroundings offer the peace and comfort that travelers seek for their holidays,” Orfanakis Group said in an announcement. All rooms are fully equipped with modern appliances such as mini fridge, satellite TV, air conditioning device, safe deposit box, coffee-tea making facilities and more. The Sea Side Resort & Spa also offers three concept restaurants, large and small private swimming pools, bars, a spa and the ASANA Fitness Club & Yoga Shala. According to Orfanakis Group, the hotel’s management appears optimistic about the 2021 summer season due to the growing demand and the increase of bookings. Health is a priority Having the protection of its visitors and employees from the coronavirus pandemic, resort maintains strict health protocols. Orfanakis Group said that most of the staff of the Sea Side Resort & Spa has been vaccinated for Covid-19. “Safety measures are the most important procedure for this summer. Let’s not forget that we must all respect the hygiene and social distancing rules.” The Orfanakis Group operates two more resorts on Crete, the Acro Suites and the three-star Porto Village, while it is planning to open a new concept hotel on Crete in the future.
