Emirates on June 1 resumed flights from Dubai to New York (Newark Liberty International Airport) via Athens.

“At Emirates we are very proud of resuming the daily direct Athens – New York connection and optimistic about the rest of our destination network,” the airline’s Area Manager for Greece and Albania, Khalid Al Zarooni, said during a recent visit to Athens International Airport (AIA).

The Dubai-Athens-Newark flight operates daily with a three-class Boeing 777-300ER.

Emirates flight EK209 departs Athens at 5:35pm and arrives at Newark Liberty International Airport at 9:20pm on the same day.

The return flight EK210 departs Newark at 11:55pm, arriving in Athens at 4:05pm the next day. All times are local.

“The connection of Greece with the United States by Emirates facilitates Greek trade and consumer movement and supports tourism in practice,” Zarooni added.
