Organized by Proteas Panhellenic Association and the Hellenic Maritime Heritage (Argos C.N.P.C), the event was initially scheduled to take place in Pylos in the Peloponnese from September 11-19. It has been postponed due to the uncertainty caused by Covid-19 and the travel restrictions implemented worldwide. The Greek Maritime Week would include a wide range of topics; an exhibition of museum material; onboard visits and the mooring of historic ships; the promotion of Greece’s naval tradition that is intertwined with historical events related to the Greek revolution, the naval battle of Pylos and the role of warship “ARIS” of Tsamados. The 2021 event would also pay a special tribute to the 200 years of the Greek revolution and its great marine heroes. Also, the EMH Conference is a leading event offering worldwide exposure beyond the geographical borders of Europe.
