The company’s Four Seasons Astir Beach, the Beef Bar and Nobu Matsuhisa recently offered approximately 80 boxes containing food, first aid items and cleaning products to municipal authorities and local bodies. The items were gradually distributed to cover the immediate needs of individuals in the fire-stricken areas. In addition, Astir has proceeded with monetary donations to the Red Cross and animal welfare organizations such as the Greek Stray and Wild Animal. “The needs of our fellow human beings and the environment are a priority for us at Astir Palace. Through a collective and coordinated process, and its Corporate Social Responsibility program, Astir Palace covered the needs that emerged [after the fire] and offered solidarity by immediately responding to the circumstances,” the company said in an announcement. Astir Palace Vouliagmeni S.A. has a history of over 50 years in Greek tourism. In 2020, the company successfully completed the renovation project of the Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens in Vouliagmeni.
