Rhodesgastronomy and wines were recently promoted to Italy through an extensive feature published in Italian monthly magazine Bell’ Europa.

Titled “Rhodes, the taste of summer” (Rodi, il gusto dell’ estate), the 14-page feature was published in the August issue of Bell’ Europa, following a press trip that was organized by the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) service in Italy and the Municipality of Rhodes before the start of the 2021 tourism season in Greece.

During the press trip, journalist Vannina Patanè and photographer Massimo Ripani visited many different restaurants and taverns on Rhodes, spoke with their owners, and tasted traditional and modern dishes made with authentic local products.

They also visited Rhodes’ wineries and women’s cooperatives producing local products.

The article includes rich photo material and useful information provided by the GNTO service in Italy.

Apart from Rhodes, the journalists of Bell’ Europa also visited Halki to gather information for a new article to be published in the near future.
