Following a request by the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) office in Bulgaria, the TTO recently hosted the TV crew of Bulgaria’s Nova television network in Thessaloniki. “We wish to enhance the image of our destination in order to keep the desire of tourists to visit Thessaloniki alive,” the organization said. During their stay, Nova TV journalists Viktoria Rumenova Boyadzhieva and Dimitar Vasilev toured Thessaloniki and then departed for the Sporades islands. “The coordinated promotion of road tourism to the Balkan countries is carried out in collaboration with tourism stakeholders in Greece and abroad, with the aim to maintain the positive image that Thessaloniki managed to built prior to the pandemic,” the TTO added.
