Destinations news ‘Viva la feta’: Belgian Travel Show Begins Filming on Sifnos by GTP editing team 1 October 2021 written by GTP editing team 1 October 2021 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 25 Photo source: @VisitSifnos A Belgian travel TV show titled “Viva la feta” has just started filming on Sifnos, the municipality of the Greek island recently announced on social media. “Through the show and our collaboration with the Greek National Tourism Organization service in The Netherlands, we plan to convey a message to millions of potential travelers in Belgium about Sifnos’ and Greece’s deep contribution to inner revival through activities, architecture, history, trandition, gastronomy and natural beauty,” Sifnos Mayor Maria Nadali told the Athens News Agency (ANA). Photo: GTP The Belgian TV crew is expected to stay on the island until the middle of October. According to reports, “Viva la feta” will film eight episodes on Sifnos, which then will then air in the winter on “Play 7”, a popular TV channel in Belgium. “Viva la feta” will air during prime time to million of viewers in Belgium who will have the chance to observe the authenticity of the Greek destination. “Sifnos, this year has proven its authenticity, with arrivals during July and August reaching 96 percent of the corresponding period in 2019,” Sifnos Mayor Maria Nadali told ANA.
