Destinations news TCB’s New Website Shows the Way to Hold a Great Convention in Thessaloniki by GTP editing team 20 October 2021 written by GTP editing team 20 October 2021 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 27 The Thessaloniki Convention Bureau (TCB) has upgraded its website in efforts to facilitate MICE professionals and provide potential customers with information on the city’s available services and venues to host conferences and events. According to TCB Managing Director Eleni Sotiriou, the new website is addressed to a wide audience and presents Thessaloniki’s portfolio of tourism and conference products. Already available in English at www.thessalonikiconventionbureau.gr, the website has been redesigned to showcase TCB’s “unconventional way to a great convention”. The website’s new color palette features elegant but intense colors – the orange, blue and white of the TCB logo combined with the tone of Thessaloniki’s sunset. “Operating for a few days now, the website has received very positive comments and high traffic volumes, which we expect to increase further in the future,” Sotiriou said. The website includes rich photo material and impressive content inspiring users to design their own events and experiences in Thessaloniki. Apart from news and articles, the website also offers audiovisual material for the city’s tourism promotion and a complete media kit. In addition, it offers visitors access to TCB’s social media (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn). A special section dedicated to TCB members, presents the city’s MICE services and infrastructure as well as the bureau’s services offered to customers looking to host an event in Thessaloniki. The new website is also connected to the redesigned newsletter of the Thessaloniki Convention Bureau that is also available in English.
