The Greek hospitality group also received another five honors at the WTA 2021 for the prime hospitality services of its two luxury resorts Creta Maris Beach Resort and Santo Maris Oia Luxury Suites & Spa. “We thank the organizers of World Travel Awards… Each award is is a commitment for us to continue to provide high-level authentic hospitality services,” Metaxa Hospitality Group CEO Andreas Metaxas said. Santo Maris Located in Oia on Santorini and offering luxury services along with a stunning view, Santo Maris won the title of “Europe’s Leading Boutique Resort’’ for the third year in a row. The resort also received the titles of “Greece’s Leading Island Villas’’ and “Greece’s Best Resort Spa’’ for the fourth and fifth consecutive year, respectively. Creta Maris The Creta Maris Beach Resort, known as a blend of tradition and luxury, received the WTA titles of ‘‘Greece’s Leading All-Inclusive Resort’’ and ‘‘Greece’s Leading Beach Resort’’ for the second year in a row. Every year, the World Travel Awards acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the tourism industry. The awards are known throughout the sector as the “Oscars of the travel industry” and votes are cast by travel professionals and high-end tourism consumers.
