Spain recently placed Greece, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Liechtenstein and several other countries and regions on its Covid-19 “high-risk” list for travel.

This means that travelers arriving to Spain from these countries and regions are required to follow additional entry rules including proof of vaccination against Covid-19 or proof of recovery. Travelers who don’t hold any of the two documents must present a negative test result.

Other EU countries included on Spain’s “high-risk” list are Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Germany, Slovakia, Sweden, Poland, Hungary, The Netherlands, Romania and more.

According to an announcement by the Spanish Ministry of Health, the list of high risk countries /areas, as well as the criteria used to define them, are reviewed every seven days.

Spain’s “high-risk” travel list is in effect until November 7, and is available here.

More information on Spain’s entry requirements can be found here.
