The Region of Central Macedonia this month will hold conferences and B2B meetings for tourism professionals in three European cities – Milan, Paris and Berlin – in efforts to promote the area’s destinations and tourism offerings.

The first event will take place in Milan at the end of November. Central Macedonia Region executives will reintroduce the area’s thematic tourism products with the aim to support local entrepreneurs and promote year-round travel.

“Following the restart of global tourism in the summer and the optimistic messages coming from increasing arrivals, Central Macedonia will be reintroduced to the foreign tourism market as a safe destination that can offer unique authentic experiences to its visitors and respond to their need to explore new destinations,” teh region said in an announcement.

During the Milan conference, Central Macedonia representatives will explain the philosophy of Macedonian cuisine and present the region’s gastronomy and wine tourism offerings.

Cultural tourism and alternative forms of travel will also be discussed.

The conference will be attended by representatives of local tourism agencies, travel media and journalists. It will be followed by a press conference and networking events.
