DWP Congress: Mitsis Hotels Successfully Hosts B2B Wedding Planners Event

Mitsis Hotels’ five-star Alila Resort & Spa recently welcomed over 350 luxury wedding experts and influencers from 40 countries to the island of Rhodes for the 7th Destination Wedding Planners (DWP) Congress 2021.

The biggest B2B platform of the destination wedding industry was held during November 9-11 in collaboration with the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO), the Region of South Aegean and the Municipality of Rhodes.

The ultra all-inclusive Alila Resort & Spa hosted renowned professionals from the US, the UAE, France, Israel and other countries. DWP offered 30 hours of networking opportunities and more than 5,000 scheduled meetings.

Furthermore, it showcased the latest trends in weddings and the most popular wedding destinations, dream venues, creative partners and new services.

It also highlighted Greece as the ultimate destination for wedding events and trips.

Furthermore, South Aegean Governor George Hatzimarkos said the island of Rhodes offered many advantages as a wedding destination including easy connection with most countries via direct international flights from March to November.
