Antigoni Maistrali was re-elected president for a second term. “The confidence of my colleagues who elected me for a second consecutive term as the association’s president is a reminder of my duty to continue to represent the tourism sector with consistency and determination amid the most difficult circumstances for Greek tourism,” Maistrali said. The new BoD is as follows: President Antigoni Maistrali Vice President Petros Feggoudakis Secretary General Ioannis Syrakis Treasurer Ploumi Avgerinou-Paidousi Curator Markella Tomazou After the elections, Secretary General Ioannis Syrakis said the new BoD would work hard to promote the comparative advantages of Chios through dynamic communication channels and partnerships to offer the best possible experiences to Chios’ visitors and meet the demands of the post-Covid era. “Our aim is for Chios to take the place it deserves [as a tourism destination] according to the principles of sustainable development,” he added.
