As part of the new partnership, Nelios has designed a new modern website for the hospitality group and also developed an integrated digital marketing strategy. “Our primary goal is to proceed with the presentation of each of the group’s six hotels and offer the opportunity to visitors to immediately comprehend the options available and easily locate the hotel that meets their needs,” Nelios said in an announcement. Since the first month of its operation, the website’s results have been impressive with the conversation rate increasing by almost 90 percent compared to 2019. According to Nelios, this is Greece’s first hotel website based on the mobile-first design. The new website of Electra Hotels & Resorts is available here. Nelios features a rich corporate portfolio of more than 400 hotels and the growth rate of its annual contracts has reached 96 percent. During the last four years the company has won over 25 awards for offering prime services and delivering positive results. Electra Hotels & Resorts Established in 1965, Electra Hotels & Resorts opened its first hotel, the Electra Hotel Athens, on Ermou Street. In 1972, the group opened the doors of the Electra Palace Thessaloniki on Aristotelous Square and one year later the opening of the Electra Palace Athens in Plaka followed. In 1975 the group opened the Electra Palace Rhodes and then the Electra Metropolis Athens in September 2016, located very close to Syntagma Square. The group’s latest addition is the five-star Electra Kefalonia Hotel & Spa located on the Greek island of Kefalonia.
