Located on the Greek island of Kos, the hotel has been operating for two decades in accordance to the international standards of sustainable development. the hotel also complies with all required regulations, undertaking initiatives to reduce its environmental footprint and raise social sensitivity among employees and guests. Awarded for its high-level services based on international standards, the hotel received: • The Travelife Gold Certification, an international certification awarded to hotels for the responsible management of their socio-economic and environmental impact. Grecotel Kos Imperial was evaluated for raising environmental awareness among its employees and visitors, supporting local initiatives, promoting culture and education, and supporting vulnerable groups on the island. • The HACCP – Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points certification, a preventive food safety management system which confirms that the hotel complies with the laws and regulations regarding the safety of the food supplied, produced and offered to guests.
