The list is compiled every year by UK-based William Reed Business Media. The Clumsies bar was awarded for a seventh year in a row, ranking fourth on the 2021 list and the Baba Au Rum has again entered the list in the 14th position. Baba au Rum bar, Athens The World’s 50 Best Bars list celebrates the best of the international drinks industry. This year, the awards recognize the hard work from the entire bar sector over the past year and aim to inspire and encourage hospitality venues in the next crucial stage of recovery from the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. The 2021 edition of the annual ranking features bars from 17 countries and sees London’s Connaught Bar take the No.1 spot, picking up The World’s Best Bar and The Best Bar in Europe titles. London’s Connaught Bar topped The Worlds 50 Best Bars list. The list also includes 18 new entries spread across Australia, India, Mexico, Russia, Argentina, Sweden, Spain, China and the UAE. London stays on top but Spain leads Europe Europe leads the way globally with 17 bars included on the list. London’s Tayēr + Elementary ranks second with Spain’s Paradiso in the third position. The 13th list of The World’s 50 Best Bars, sponsored by Perrier, was announced during a live awards ceremony on December 7, in London. The list is as follows: 1.
