Held earlier in December, the event brought together luxury travel professionals from 73 countries with over 1,300 luxury travel suppliers from across the world for a week of dedicated one-to-one meetings – over 50,000 in total – as well as an extensive program of networking events. The GNTO service in France participated in the ILTM with a 250sqm pavilion and 32 co-exhibitors from Greece, aiming to promote the country’s luxury tourism product as well as to expand and enrich its tourism offerings. During the event, more than 1,200 business meetings took place between representatives of Greek companies and hosted buyers mainly from Europe and the US. “This confirms the high position of Greece in the international luxury travel market,” the GNTO said. It is reminded that Greece recently won the title of the Best Luxury Destination International at the Travvy Awards 2021, one of the leading events of the US tourism market.
