Travelife Gold is an internationally recognized sustainability certification system for hotels and other tourism enterprises. The certification is given after enterprises are inspected for their environmental, social and financial footprint in accordance to over 160 strict criteria concerning all levels of operation. According to Travelife, only 1,100 hotels worldwide have received the label so far, and enjoy promotion benefits through the organization’s online platform. Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki was certified following a thorough on-site inspection of its facilities and premises. The hotel has managed to achieve high standards of environmental management, social responsibility and corporate governance.
