German leisure airline Condor on Friday announced that it is partnering with Greek airline SKY express and expanding its route network in Greece to offer travel to a total of 28 destinations in the country.

Starting this summer, Condor will offer 17 nonstop connections to Greece. Together with its new partner airline SKY express, the leisure airline will enable onward flights to eleven additional Greek destinations. The new partnership will also increase connections to existing destinations in Greece.

“Together with SKY express, Condor offers its passengers an uncomplicated onward journey to the most beautiful destinations in Greece, enabling flexible travel planning,” said Condor CEO Ralf Teckentrup.

According to Teckentrup, Condor is not only expanding its route network to Greece, but also offering guests the opportunity “to discover the diversity of the country for themselves”.

From July 2022, Condor passengers will be able to travel via Athens, Rhodes, Corfu and Heraklion to eleven new destinations on SKY express flights, including popular islands such as Naxos, Paros and Lesvos (Mytilini). From Germany, customers fly from Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich and Leipzig.

SKY express Commercial Director Yiannis Lidakis said the cooperation with Condor strengthens the strategy of the Greek airline.

“We continue our ongoing efforts and this gives us the opportunity to enter further new collaborations with important airlines in our region… Our main goal is to offer more opportunities to our passengers, but also to strengthen the potential of our country as a dynamic travel destination,” Lidakis said.

Condor is represented in Greece and Cyprus by Discover the World.
