Last year, the event was held in a virtual form with the participation of over 2,000 runners from 44 countries. Registration for the 2022 marathon race is now open at www.rhodesmarathon.gr. As in previous years, the Rhodes International Marathon is expected to attract runners from Greece and abroad. The event includes a marathon race; a half-marthon route; a 10km; and a 5km races. Considered a significant sports event in southeastern Greece, the marathon over the years has attracted some of the top runners in the world. Athletes are able to enjoy the race by the sea combined with the beauties of the island of Rhodes.
