Located on the hotel’s ground floor and extending into the garden, the new restaurant has been designed by aWish Architects. The firm has transformed the building, which previously housed a glass and hagiography workshop, into a modern hotel restaurant. Chef Yiannis Lucacos has designed the menu of IVIS 4 based on excellent raw materials, combining Greek tradition with a more relaxed version of his culinary philosophy. “Lucacos has created an excellent all-day comfort food menu with dishes available from brunch to evening. The IVIS 4 Restaurant is the ideal destination for brunch, lunch, dinner or just a wonderful cocktail & platter option,” the hotel’s management said in an announcement. Guests can choose among the Greek-style burger, the spinach pie in a salad form as well as real comfort dishes like the velvet potato soup or the Italian orecchiette pasta with avocado sauce. The same philosophy runs through desserts such as the mousse halva with thyme honey and toasted sesame or the homemade walnut pie with Turkish delight ice cream. Located in Psyrri, a neighborhood with a long tradition in handicrafts and art workshops, the Ivis 4 Boutique Hotel is in very close distance to the metro stations of Thisio and Monastiraki, the Acropolis and the Kerameikos, the Ancient Agora, the Acropolis Museum and the most important sights of the city. In its rooms and common areas one can admire unique art murals by renowned Street Artist SimpleG, made exclusively for IVIS 4. An oversized graffiti, inspired by nature runs through the restaurant and lobby connecting those areas with the garden. Guests may choose among 14 spacious luxury rooms and suites, featuring unique designed and overlooking the Acropolis, the city or the garden.
