Company updates Katikies Hotels Joins Video Campaign that Celebrates the Greek Islands by GTP editing team 16 February 2022 written by GTP editing team 16 February 2022 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 17 Greek hospitality group Katikies Hotels has entered into a partnership with travel content experts Beautiful Destinations to produce a series of videos that captures the incredible natural beauty and authentic essence of Mykonos and Santorini. Starting on February 16, Katikies Hotels and Beautiful Destinations will begin rolling out the travel content on their respective social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Weibo, and more. The campaign is expected to reach a collective audience of approximately 30 million. “Our need to share the uniqueness and raw beauty of Santorini and Mykonos but also creatively kickstart summer season 2022 led us to partner up with Beautiful Destinations,” said Katikies Hotels General Manager Vasileios Koumpis. “Through the creation of stunning visuals we hope to inspire travelers to discover and explore these two gems of the Aegean,” he added. To kick off this partnership, the team of Beautiful Detinations spent two weeks traveling across seven Katikies hotels with the goal to bring the iconic destinations to life like never before in a video shot to inspire the world to travel to Santorini and Mykonos. The team filmed hours of footage mostly using first-person view (FPV), for the final product to be a truly immersive journey through the islands—the next best thing to being there in person. “We are delighted to partner with Katikies and announce their inclusion in our Beautiful Hotels collection of the most desirable places to stay across the world,” said Jeremy Jauncey, founder and CEO of Beautiful Destinations. Katikies’ luxury properties not only served as a sumptuous home base for the film and production crew, but also evolved into main characters all their own. Waking up before dawn, the crew primed their lenses to capture jam-packed days of excitement and wonder, until the sun dipped into the horizon. Globetrotters, armchair travelers and social media scrollers will be able to take a “virtual tour” of each Katikies property inside and out—the lavish suites, gorgeous pools, acclaimed restaurants, the dreamy exteriors—learning why the hotels serve as the perfect Cycladic sanctuary.
