The annual event will gather some of Greece’s top wine producers and offer the chance to visitors to discuss and taste wines of the current and previous years from the Peloponnese. The event will take place at the Royal Olympic Hotel near the center of the Greek capital with the participation of over 40 members of the Wine Producers’ Association of the Peloponnese Vineyard (ENOAP). “Great wines from native grapes of the Peloponnese; wines made of international varieties; experimental winemaking techniques and new bottles… will be introduced during the Peloponnese Wine Festival with the aim to offer a complete view of the authenticity, diversity and unique features of Peloponnese’s terroir,” the organizers said. The Peloponnese Wine Festival will be held in accordance with the Covid-19 health protocols announced by Greek authorities. Visitors must present a valid vaccination or recovery certificate as well as an identification document (ID or passport). The festival will take place on February 21, during 12pm-4pm and 5pm-9pm.
