The group has announced the creation of a brand new hotel unit on Corfu, with a capacity of up to 200 beds. Budgeted at 15 million euros, the project will be completed in 2024. In addition, the group will strengthen its presence in Thesprotia with the creation of a 3.5-million-euro complex of luxury villas in the area of Karavostasi, adjacent to the recently launched MarBella Elix. “Our goal is to remain leaders in the field of luxury hospitality, respectfully showcasing the destinations in which we operate. We are creating an expanded luxury hotel product offering in order to meet the needs of modern travelers at any stage of their life,” MarBella Collection Group Vassilis Dracopoulos said. More specifically, this year’s investment plan worth 5 million euros for the award-winning MarBella Corfu foresees the addition of two new restaurants to its extensive array of gastronomy options, as well as of a state-of-the-art Aqua Park. For the 2023 season, a complete renovation of all rooms, suites and common areas is planned, with an investment cost of 10 million euros. In addition, 25 new luxury suites will be added to the MarBella Nido, an investment of 3 million euros set to be completed in 2024. MarBella Corfu. The new projects follow a 46-million-euro investment program carried out by the MarBella Collection Hotel Group during 2016-2021. It included the purchase and reconstruction of existing hotel units both in Agios Ioannis Peristeron on Corfu (now MarBella Nido) and in the area of Karavostasi (now MarBella Elix), alongside the ongoing modernization of MarBella Corfu.
