Thessaloniki, Greece, this summer will welcome the Monasty hotel, a member of the Autograph Collection by Marriott International, right in the heart of the city, next to Aristotelous Square.

A 16-million-euro investment by construction company Michaniki Perivallontos S.A., the Monasty was founded on a singular vision: to create a new destination that captures all the character of the extraordinary city of Thessaloniki.

As highlighted by Michaniki Perivallontos in an announcement, the luxurious Monasty (“Mon” from monastery, and “Asty” which means city) will be the first international branded hotel in the heart of Thessaloniki.

“Autograph Collection Hotels, Marriott International’s diverse and dynamic portfolio of independent hotels championing individuality, welcomes Monasty Thessaloniki Autograph Collection, to its growing portfolio,” the company said.

With 100 rooms of exquisite design, Monasty Thessaloniki will aim to provide unparalleled hospitality to business travelers, weekend guests, and city visitors.

Extraordinary culinary experiences will be offered by the hotel’s all-day lounge and the rooftop bar with Mediterranean comfort fusion cuisine and exquisite cocktails.

Monasty’s facilities will provide an exceptional and wide range of choices for business meetings and social events with its private dining options, lounges, meeting & conference rooms.

The Monasty Thessaloniki Autograph Collection, by Marriott International, will operate under the management of SWOT Hospitality.
