The Castro Hotel Syros has announced that it will welcome its first guests for the season in April following the complete renovation of its rooms and public areas.

The historic five-star hotel is located in the heart of Ermoupolis on the Greek island of Syros.

Built in 1857 by Greek architect George Greca, the property features colorful ceilings painted by Italian artists. Its first owner was wealthy Italian Matias Barabino, who placed his initials and year of creation on the property’s balcony.

Castro Hotel Syros will open its doors this year with its premises completely renovated and its historic elements carefully restored, aiming to offer guests a luxurious accommodation experience.

All rooms and suites feature marvelous design with impressive contemporary elements, sophistication and finesse blended with neoclassical architecture.

Castro Hotel Syros also features a reception and concierge service, a revitalizing spa with a private hammam and jacuzzi, a selection of invigorating face and body treatments and soothing massages.
