Despite the challenges, the group is looking forward to the new tourism season with optimism and confidence, while supporting its employees, business partners, suppliers and the local communities in which it operates. “We are opening our hotels, ready to offer our best… With a smile, kindness and talent we welcome the guests who honor us and wish to make them feel like members of our family,” Metaxa Hospitality Group CEO Andreas Metaxas said. Crete TUI Magic Life Candia Maris The group has already opened the Creta Maris Beach Resort in Hersonissos, Crete. Featuring 681 rooms, the resort offers ideal hospitality infrastructure for families and couples in an area of 42 acres. Creta Maris is also implementing activities that support authentic sustainable hospitality. Furthermore, the adults-only TUI Magic Life Candia Maris in Ammoudara, Heraklion, will open its doors on April 9. The resort, this year will offer a variety of outdoor activities. Santorini Santo Maris Oia Luxury Suites & Spa The Santo Maris Oia Luxury Suites & Spa, located in Oia, will open on April 20. Offering privacy and stunning views of the famous sunset of Santorini, the resort, this year, has upgraded its outdoor areas and features a new reception and conference rooms. Safety first Aiming to protect the health of its visitors and employees from Covid-19, the group is implementing the “Committed to Caring” program which has adopted the health protocols and the instructions of international and national health organizations, while it has received all the necessary certifications.
