Greece’s national carrier AEGEAN recently opened the doors to its brand new business lounge at Athens International Airport (AIA), located in the extra Schengen area.

With its new 1,250 square meter lounge, AEGEAN aims to offer an unparalleled experience of travel and hospitality and also mark its dynamic start in this year’s tourism season.

By incorporating its new brand identity and inspired by traditional Greek architecture, AEGEAN’s new lounge combines functionality, comfort and hospitality with state-of-the-art technology and upgraded services.

The business lounge offers natural light and an impressive airside view, which, combined with high quality materials such as marble, terrazzo, glass and wood, create modern and comfortable surroundings.

Once in the lounge, passengers will find different meeting points that offer multiple choices according to their needs: media lounge for networking, social lounge to stay connected, quiet lounge for extra relaxation, meeting rooms for work, recliners, the two cafeterias, restaurant and wine bar.

The new AEGEAN Business Lounge aims to also serve as a platform to promote Greece and all warm and cold dishes as well as wines offered, come mainly from fine Greek producers.

The new lounge was designed by the architect team of K-Studio that also designed AEGEAN’s new lounge at the airport in Thessaloniki.

AEGEAN’s new business lounge at Athens Airport will be open to all Business Class and Miles+Bonus Gold passengers, as well as to members of Star Alliance network.

Following is a brief timelapse of the preparation of AEGEAN’s business lounge.
