Greek airline SKY express recently announced that its summer 2022 flight program will include flights to 20 cities in 11 countries and the largest domestic network.

“With direct flights to strategic destinations abroad, enhanced interconnectivity for the largest domestic network and strong alliances, the airline’s new era contributes decisively to the country’s tourist traffic this summer as well,” a company announcement read.

Direct connections to strategic destinations abroad

The airline this year has added new destinations to the existing international network that already includes London, Paris, Rome, Brussels and Larnaca. This summer, Sky Express will also fly to Amsterdam, the Netherlands; Lisbon, Portugal; Lyon, Lille, Marseille and Nantes, France; Copenhagen and Bilud, Denmark; Warsaw and the cities of Gdansk, Poznan, Rzeszów and Wroclaw in Poland; Tallinn, Estonia; and Timisoara, Romania.

In the domestic network, SKY express is boosting direct flights to the airports of Crete, the Dodecanese and the Ionian Islands, while maintaining the connection of Athens with Greek destinations.

Strategic alliances

Aiming to attract visitors from all over the world, SKY express has launched strategic interconnection agreements with global airlines such as Air France, KLM, Qatar Airways, American Airlines, Cyprus Airways, Condor, El Al, Middle East Airlines, Transavia, Air Transat and easyJet.

Thus, passengers from Europe, America and the Middle East can fly directly to Athens International Airport and continue their journey to any of the 34 Greek destinations that SKY express serves.
