Naxos is an Ideal Wedding Destination for Finnish Residents

Finnish residents see Naxos as an ideal wedding destination, according to HAAT, a leading wedding magazine in Finland.

In an eight-page feature HAAT calls on Finnish couples to select Greece and especially Naxos for their honeymoon or for the renewal of their relationship in the post-Covid-19 era.

“Legend has it that whoever visits the greenest most fertile island of the Cyclades falls in love with either a life partner or him/herself or the destination. Naxos is almost magic! ” HAAT’s article says.

It further notes that the international honeymoon habits and trends have changed while Naxos has adopted a new destination management model to meet the needs of newlywed couples that seek for authenticity, hospitality, culture, gastronomy, history, experiences and activities.

“Health and energy trends are affecting travel trends globally. We are evolving our narrative in order to respond to the new needs based on the multifaceted tourism product of Naxos and the Small Cyclades,” Mayor Vangelis Katsaras said.

HAAT’s feature also includes beautiful photos of Naxos.

It was written following a press trip organized earlier this year by the Greek National Tourism Organization’s office in Scandinavia and the Municipality of Naxos and Small Cyclades for the magazine’s editors.
