Describing Paros as “a paradise on earth”, the videos highlight its natural beauty and the thematic forms of tourism offered to visitors including water sport activities and gastronomy. Arrivals and revenues on the rise Paros is a popular destination for both Greek and international travelers and according to the island’s mayor, Markos Koveos, the island is currently seeing a rise in both arrivals and revenues. “We are happy for the visible results that exceeded expectations in terms of arrivals and revenues following a successful Easter holiday period. We have every reason to believe that 2022 will conclude with impressive results,” he said. Referring to the new promotional videos of Paros, Koveos highlighted that the municipality has adopted new modern practices to reach out to travelers. “These new online ‘tools’ will be distributed to all our contacts in Greece and abroad and through the Greek National Tourism Organization’s offices abroad,” he added.
