The Port Square hotel, Piraeus

The Port Square, a new smart hotel in Piraeus, recently opened its doors right next to the city’s port.

Featuring unique hospitality options and smart technology services, the new modern luxury hotel has a capacity of 53 rooms and suites and offers five types of accommodation, aiming to cover the needs of both business and leisure travelers.

Apart from double rooms that face the city or the square, The Port Square also offers a comfort room for three guests, the Friends & Family room that has four beds and the Port Square suite that includes a large verandah and a stunning view.

The hotel’s Bacaro restaurant on Loudovikos Square offers traditional Greek flavors with a modern twist by Greek chef Dimitris Orestis.

The hotel also has a Business Center that offers internet access to guests in a fully equipped cozy environment on its mezzanine floor.

The Port Square is a new addition to the portfolio of Greek hotel management company Trésor Hospitality.

The hotel’s location – right next to gates E6 / E7 of the port, from where the ferries arrive and depart for the islands of Cyclades, and just a few minutes a way from the city’s railway station by foot – is considered ideal for travelers that wish to explore both Piraeus and the center of Athens.

Athens’ new metro line that will connect Piraeus with Athens International Airport is expected to start operating within 2022.

The Port of Piraeus is Greece’s chief sea port and the largest in the country. It is also one of the largest in Europe.
