In a recent online article titled “Where the Condé Nast Traveller editors are going on holiday this summer”, the magazine provides its readers with an array of summer holiday ideas for 2022. Later on in the week we’ll get the three-and-a-half hour ferry to the quieter volcanic island of Milos,” she says. According to Knight, there’s plenty of spots to visit on Milos including craggy cliffs with secret cove beaches and colorful, sleepy fishing villages. “I’m drawn to the chalky white cliffs and turquoise waters of Sarakiniko beach,” she says. Having visited Kos again in the past, Sturges hopes to further explore the island this year by going further inland. “Having ambled through the harbour of Kos town and flirted with mythology at the Tree of Hippocrates on multiple occasions, I’m hoping to go further inland on my next visit, now aware how large the island is and how many dazzling beaches there are to uncover,” he says. Condé Nast Traveller’s editors also choose Lake Como, Italy; Turkey; St Wolfgang, Austria; Norfolk, UK; Corsica; Albania and Menton, France for summer holidays this year.
