Organized by the QualityNet Foundation, the Bravo Sustainability Awards ceremony took place recently with the aim to recognize sustainability initiatives and initiate a dialogue among state authorities, citizens and businesses. Aldemar was awarded for its “Circular Flow & Reduction of Water Waste” program implemented at the Aldemar Olympian Village resort. This program is part of the group’s wider plan for the management of its resources, raw materials and environmental footprint, and has thus far succeeded to engage both the hotel’s staff and guests. “Natural resources should not be taken for granted… We are still at the beginning of our efforts to place the natural environment at the center of our choices,” Aldemar Resorts CEO Alexandros Angelopoulos said.
